 Star Treatment Mahogany-Star offers a wide range of makeup services to suit a variety of budgets and tastes. Our services and rates are detailed below. Mahogany-Star is not limited to the DC/MD/VA area. We are willing to travel to meet your needs. Additional traveling fees may apply depending on location and travel time. Star Profile - Your Private Consultation
Rate: $40
Includes a one hour session to discuss your makeup needs, try a look, and outline services. A consultation is highly recommended prior to your event in order to ensure your beauty needs will be fully met. The service fee is waived if you are booking any services in the Paparazzi Affair or Red Carpet Glam.

Red Carpet Glam - Special Event Makeup
Rate: $50 - $75
Includes strip lashes or individual lashes; full coverage face makeup including lip, eyes, and cheeks; eyebrow shaping; and basic contouring, if needed.

In Vogue - Video Shoot / Photo Shoot Makeup
Rate: $75 per hour
Services include working with the set director, model, or photographer to capture desired makeup looks.

Shooting Stars - Makeup Training
Rate: $150.00
Includes an in-depth hands-on two hour session to learn how to apply makeup.

Paparazzi Affair - Services for Your Wedding
Mahogany-Star Beauty offers a variety of services that will make your special day a picture perfect occasion.
$75-$85 Brides Makeup
Includes strip lashes or individual lashes; full coverage face makeup including color for lip, eyes, and cheeks; eyebrow shaping; and basic contouring, if needed
$50 Bridal Party Makeup / Bride or Groom’s Parents
Includes full coverage face makeup including color for lip, eyes, and cheeks
$20 Flower Girls/Junior Bridesmaids Makeup
Includes, blush, sparkling shadow and sheer lip gloss
$15 Groom Dusting
Includes product application and dusting to reduce the shiny appearance of the skin
$150 On Location Half Day
Includes Bride and Bridesmaids touch ups for wedding ceremony and reception up to two hours. This service is in addition to makeup services.
$60 Tattoo Coverage
Includes product application to diminish the appearance of tattoos. Additional fees may apply depending on the size of the tattoo.

Star Affair - Pamper Parties
Icons Package
Rate: $40 - $60 per person
Minimum of two hours and four Icons
Picture it…wine, laughter, and receiving an iconic look that will leave you feeling like the star you are. The Icons Package will be a special evening for you and your girlfriends that will be filled with learning how to get that cover girl look, a professional makeup artist giving you a touch of shimmer, and sipping on fine wine. This package is also customizable.
Divas Package
Rate: $150 for up to eight Divas, additional persons are $20 each
Roll out the red carpet the Divas are ready to make their debut, but first they need an attention stopping makeup look. The Divas Package is for preteens and teenagers 11-19 years old, who are ready to shine and say, “I’m a Diva.” This package will provide a brief training on how to do an age appropriate makeup look. Additionally, each Diva will receive a makeover and snapshot of her final makeup look. This package is also customizable.
Pop Princess Package
Rate: $200 for up to eleven Princesses, additional persons are $20 each
Mahogany-Star wants to crown your special princess. The Pop Princess Package is for girls five to ten years old that want to add a little glamour to their party. Our professional makeup artist will makeover each little princess with the flip of her magic brush by giving them a hint of cheek color, sparkling eye shadow, and a little gloss to their lips. The princesses will also be treated to a manicure that will add that final dazzle to their look. Mahogany-Star’s Pop Princess Package wouldn’t be complete without a princess bag filled with special goodies. This package is also customizable.

BOOKING/DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS Please secure your date as soon as possible by placing your deposit and signing the proper contract. Reservations are taken up to six months to a year in advance. To secure your date and time, a $25.00 deposit is required. The deposit will be applied to your service and is non-refundable. The service is not reserved until your deposit has been received and/or has cleared. All final payments must be made prior to your makeup service date. The payment deadline will be outlined in your contract. Click the button below to pay your deposit. If a makeup assistant is needed there will be an extra charge of $50.00. It is recommended that you contact us to address any questions or concerns regarding our rates, contract, or services. Mahogany-Star accepts the following forms of payments: cash, a business check, and money orders. You can also pay through PayPal at www.paypal.com. An invoice will be sent to you for all service fees. Cancellation Policy: Please notify us at least two weeks in advance of the reserved date to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If a two week notice is not received to cancel an appointment, a cancellation fee of $50.00 may be charged. This fee includes your non-refundable deposit of $25.00. If a two week notice is not received to reschedule an appointement, a rescheduling fee of $25.00 may be charged. See your specific contract for additional details on cancellation.
